Digital health applications between expectations and evidential proof.

Doctors want to know what digital health applications can achieve, and accordingly have expectations. These are in some cases still being tested in practice and as a new product category are a relatively unknown quantity. On the other hand, manufacturers point to their efficacy. In the meantime, some manufacturers have already successfully subjected several health applications to the demanding BfArM approval process.
