We are not only the engine for developing our business models and processes but also the public face towards partners and customers. Hence, we help package all the evidence-based goodness that our Product, Tech and Content teams are working on into an attractive offering that can be sold in the market and prescribed by doctors and psychotherapists.

🤗 About us

We’re an English-speaking team of 14 mostly German (+ one French-American) individuals distributed across Germany. We either work individually or in small groups, covering the three main areas of:

Market Access

The Market Access team works on having a network of the most important stakeholders in our healthcare system so that our medical devices are known and reach the right prescribers and patients. This team is also responsible for negotiating prices for our national reimbursement pathways.

Sales

The Sales team takes care of our customers: healthcare insurance companies, doctors and psychotherapists. They close contracts and convince customers about HelloBetter.

International Business Development

The International Business Development team works on our internationalisation strategy and identifies suitable products and reimbursement pathways to other markets. They work with a great network of international stakeholders and convince international partners and customers about working with HelloBetter. All team members directly report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

🧠 How We Think & Work

👀 What is important to us?

  • 🤝 We work very collaboratively and transparent. Through monthly OKR meetings and daily stand-ups, we make sure everyone knows what their responsibility is and what the others are working on.
  • ☝️ Accountability. It is important that everyone is able to “own” projects and take full responsibility. This often also involves bringing people from different teams (mostly 💥Team Marketing , and Team Product Team Product ) together to reach our goals and make our customers happy.
  • 🙌 Personal growth and learning. We are having frequent 1on1s as well as a bi-weekly “brainstorming hour” where anyone can present ideas one has and likes to have feedback on from the team in order to leverage one’s projects’ full potential.
  • 🫶 Leading with empathy and respect.
  • 🤟 Fun! We like to banter, jokes, make new creative emojis or found slack groups like “HelloBello” where the newest dog pictures (mainly of Pauline of course :-)) are shared. Once a month we meet for team activities. Starting in autumn 2022 we also want to go on bi-annual offsites.

👉 The Business Development team is not only the engine for developing our business models and processes but is also the public face towards partners and customers. Hence, we help package all the evidence-based goodness that our Product, Tech and Content teams are working on into an attractive offering that can be sold in the market.

👉 Our main channel partners are health care professionals (doctors and psychotherapists via the DVG), health insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies. The team blends psychological expertise with business knowledge to bring ever-growing value to our customers and clients.

👉 Within clear strategy pillars we sometimes need to flexibly shift priorities in order to follow promising opportunities.

👉 We appreciate good processes and are always eager to find new national as well as international partnerships that help scale our business.

Objectives

  • ☝️ Increasing the reach of HelloBetter in terms of traction, revenue and reputation by having new contracts and doctors/therapists who prescribe our medical devices, and
  • ☝️ Keeping and developing existing accounts to grow traction, satisfaction and overall partnership quality.
  • ☝️ Ensuring scalable and repeatable growth alongside the right product-market fit.
